There is no doubt, ORAM is Amsterdam’s leading association of undertakings. Really, anyone running a company in the Dutch capital or at Schiphol should automatically become a member.

But, as poet William Elsschot wrote over a century ago: ‘between the dream and reality we find laws, and practical considerations which no-one can explain’. That’s just how it is.  Because, although Oram is extremely active, ‘only’ 600 companies have joined so far.

ORAM must grow. To 700 members. At least.
Target audience: SMEs with 50 to 200 employees.
Characteristic: Companies looking for growth and development opportunities.

The strategy we have outlined for ORAM, is simple yet bold. We're going to tell members exactly what they’re missing out on:
1. An extensive B-to-B network
2. More than 50 interesting and inspiring meetings per year
3. A powerful lobby

Lobby?

Surprising, isn’t it? ORAM has a great deal to offer. The association not only organizes networking events, but has proven particularly influential in political and administrative circles. ORAM looks out for entrepreneur’s interests in the areas of parking, accessibility, security and alleviating legislative pressure. Additionally, ORAM is the top sector organization for companies in the port of Amsterdam. The new website is packed full of activities and information. For entrepreneurs who prefer reading from paper, this content is now also available as an attractive booklet.

To powerfully position ORAM, we also developed a new brand identity and a new slogan: networkxmeetingsxlobby. Central to the design is the speech bubble, symbolizing open dialogue. ORAM knows exactly what networking is all about. If there one thing the association has to say to its members and prospective members, it would be that ‘entrepreneurs need to reach out to each other to get ahead.’ Because you can only grow towards better business together. 3x better, in our opinion.
